Your article came on the heels of a NY Times article my husband forwarded to me, explaining the appeal. I tried it. I still don't get it. But it's probably because my mom and I used to play "The 5 Letter Word Game", which was a head-to-head paper-and-pencil version of this, ideal for long car trips. This seems flat, compared to that, although I guess if you're in a group of people playing, you get that head-to-head feeling.
