You made me curious, so I had to look. 😊 It has no effect on bee or wasp stings, because they inject the venom too deeply. It works on jellyfish stings because those remain on the surface. And, oddly, it only works on 25% of those. It appears to vary by species, although that part wasn't entirely clear. The approved remedy for jelly fish stings is vinegar. That works on all (or most) species. Vinegar still won't work on bee stings, though.
