You have such a wonderful attitude! You'll get there, and be 100% healed, I'm sure.

I tore out my knee when I was 12, and I remember the LONG road to recovery -- and my patella stayed in one piece!

Some suggestions earned through hard experience:

- use your hands/arms to lift/lower yourself as much as you can, losing both knees leaves you inchworming along on your hands and butt

- once you've healed, make sure to exercise that leg, because your body will try to shift the work to the good leg, and over time that can cause muscle atrophy

- there are pain-relieving supplements that don't cause the problems of nsaids or opiates, like PEA (I use the ComfortMAX product) and Boron, as well as topical aromatherapy or cannabis products that can help reduce tension in the muscles, which also reduces pain
