Yes. It's easy to spot the curve of the leeward islands, separating the Caribbean from the Atlantic. Spotting an individual island in that curve? A LOT harder. Nevis was originally named St. Martin, by Columbus, but because of problems with cartography, another island ended up with that name. :-) By the time the mistake was realized, it was too late, and Nevis needed a new name. That's how hard the islands are to find on a map! :-)
