Yes, in the overall sugar scheme, the order is basically fruit-juice-as-part-of-fruit > fruit-juice > raw sugar > refined sugar > artificial sugars. Even "real" sugars, like birch sugar or the various "-itols", are problematic in quantity, simply because our bodies don't know how to handle them. Sure, you might not be increasing your blood sugar, but you're messing up the chemical balance of your intestines, as well as throwing your insulin response completely out of whack.
