Yes, I'm aware. (Also, that one should not use land line phones during thunderstorms, or hold onto metal tent poles. I know of people killed by both of those things.) I did actually lecture my husband on how lightning works, that water is an excellent conductor, and not to even joke about it... he was just so *proud* of his little poem.
However, this was not a thunderstorm. Just the daily rain shower, when the humidity gets over the dew point and decides to change the state of all the moisture in the air.
