Yeah, if you pushed me on it, I'd probably say I didn't think the electricity system itself had consciousness -- at least not enough to get jealous of new solar. I think it's far more likely that we were thinking a lot about how nice it would be to not be at the whims of the electrical outages, and our thoughts and feelings about that encouraged power outages to manifest for us. (Which is why it's so important to focus your thoughts on what you want, rather than what you don't want.)
