Yeah, if I had NY car insurance, I could add another car to it with no problem, at least for basic collision. As I recall, the Colorado policy just wanted to know what cars I regularly drove, for collision, because it also covered me when driving rental cars etc. But my insurance is based in the Caribbean. So they wouldn't take on a NY car.
