Whining and screaming has worked for large segments of our population. Why should they expect this will be any different. They already know most of what they whine and scream about is true...and they don't care. Fail a school exam? Whine and scream enough and the teacher will be forced to give you a passing grade. Don't want to pay full price for a service? Whine and scream until they give you a discount, because dealing with you is costing them money. The Earth is overheating and all major societal structures are collapsing? Whine and scream, and your little piece of it will remain in your comfy bubble of denial a little bit longer, because the people actually trying to make a difference have better things to do than waste time on you.
