What a great description of the many types of friendship. Recently, my husband reconnected with his childhood best buddy from 60 years ago. They'd both grown up in Illinois, then his friend moved away, so did he, and they somehow both ended up in Colorado. They spent hours talking and catching up, and it was like they'd never stopped being best friends!
