Well, yes, because it's not covered in a corporate logo! I think they were throwing out the paper because they were changing their branding from A&S to Abraham & Straus, and so they got new paper with new branding. That happened in the mid-70s, so that's about the right timeframe. But as I recall, she had multiple rolls, all with different varieties of red, green, and gold stripes interspersed with the A&S logo.
