We loved visiting Manitou Springs. It was the oddest mix of Saratoga Springs, NY, any Adirondack lakeside tourist town, and Haight-Ashbury. Lots of old money, cheap penny-arcade style tourist "attractions" open in-season, with an influx of hippie culture. The tasting tour of the different springs was high on our list of activities every visit.
