This was so interesting, I read the link about UBI as well. Have you seen Michael Haines' Market-Oriented UBI proposal? (Being investigated in Australia.) It is a combination of your sources. The government prints money, and then removes money from the system in a distributed way to offset any inflation.
Although I do agree about the parasites. Too many people have been taught that the only way to get ahead is at the expense of everyone else, rather than looking for ways the community as a whole can get ahead.
Sounds like Finland really gets that concept.
