There are apparently legal restrictions on what can be called catfish in the US. Other fish that had been called catfish bounced around a bunch of names. Swai is what Vietnam settled on to call their catfish. Alarmingly, it is apparently passed off as higher quality fish, like red snapper, surprisingly often. I like catfish, too, but this is no catfish. If you see it, don't bother buying it. :-)
