the song I usually sing in that situation is the "gotta stop by Target and buy more" song. :-) It's a great excuse to level up the underwear, and get rid of all the ones currently in need of washing that have had their tears and rips sewn together. I am familiar with this song, since the laundry room was part of the giant kitchen reflooring project.
