The funny thing is, when I rented a 2nd car for a 2nd week (direct from Avis, not Payless), THEY only charge the $6 toll fee. Once per day you use tolls, if you don't buy the unlimited toll pass. (Plus whatever the actual toll is, of course.) And the guy told me how to get home without taking the toll road! So clearly a BIG difference in how the companies handle this.
