The fountain pen ink actually dries faster than gel ink, which is my other preferred type of pen. That’s so slow, even right-handed, I often get it smeared all over my hand unless I’m careful. Which means I am frequently covered in ink. :-)

I sympathize with the trouble, though. When I temporarily had to write left-handed due to an injury, I used a pencil the entire time. :-)
