The disruptive technologies are here... algae and genetically engineered yeasts that can replace livestock (what a fossil fuel, greenhouse gas emitting industry that is!), new sources of unlimited energy (solar power satellites) that can power desalination plants and other known tech for generating unlimited clean water. But will they be implemented in time, on a large enough scale?
