Strawberry-rhubarb is pretty common.
My mom grew rhubarb as an experiment one year, because my dad loves it. She found a recipe where you basically boil it down to a liquid, and add enough sugar to turn it into a simple syrup. :-) I forget exactly what you did with it after that, I think maybe folded it into whipped cream or something. Dad thought it was delicious. I thought it tasted like weirdly flavored sugar. lol.
