Sometimes the weird stuff takes off. My husband wrote an investment advisory letter for years--one of those "here's why this company is interesting and will make you tons of money if you buy it now" things. Around the firm, despite all his other stories, he was forever known as "the guy who wrote about gay sheep". Since I can't imagine there was a company who either bred or marketed to gay sheep, that must have been a sub-point in his story.
