Reminds me of how people treat my dad -- he'll listen to everything everyone is saying, but the moment he opens his mouth to say something, everyone else shuts up, because they know he'll say something worth hearing.

With regard to the write every day... yes. It's crucial to write every day. That doesn't mean PUBLISH every day. :-) I've been learning a LOT from my 30-articles-in-30-days challenge. Sometimes, the good stuff is the stuff that just flows, with little thought to block it. Of course, sometimes the stuff that just flows is trite, overdone, superficial pablum. :-)

Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgment.
