Quora also does not have the same general level of civility in responses as Medium has. Even when people disagree here, they usually do so politely. I don’t think I’d have dared to publish this on the Internet at large, just because I’d be virtually guaranteed to be overrun by trolls. Who would read nothing more of the article than the title, but then be profoundly angry about what I never said.
