Portugal really wants digital nomads. They created an entire “digital nomad village”. So you can spend time with other folks who are also there to experience the culture, and take group trips to places. It seems a very nice set-up.

I haven’t heard much about France, other than a bunch of the people we’re going to have as neighbors previously lived there. It seems to be the quest-for-warmth for folks from the UK. First they go to the south of France. Then they go to someplace like Majorca. Then they end up in the Caribbean.
