Perhaps not up to the widely regarded first film standards, but Major League was a decent comedy with a lovely romance subplot and some interesting commentary on materialism. If you saw the trailer for Major League II, you saw ALL of the good bits. That was it. 5 minutes of humor, tediously spread throughout a full length film.
