One simple answer: MOUBI. It's a universal basic income proposal with a difference. The MO stands for market oriented. Unlike other UBIs, that simply take money out of the common pot, and distribute it, MOUBI is integrated into the economy. It helps to increase transactions, boosting the economy by increasing the purchasing power of those at the bottom of the pyramid. (The wealthy also get paid, it's universal after all, but as you pointed out, what is necessary for someone to live on represents a few hours of work for the wealthy.) When you try to take money out of the economy, that's when a miniscule portion goes back into the pot.
