Of the agents and editors I've known (some of whom actually participated in NaNoWriMo for their own writing), December is the month to reject all the garbage they get sent from NaNoWriMo authors. They joked that there needed to be a NaNoEdMo where eveyone took a month to EDIT what they'd written. Too many do not.
