Nope. Many people, their first thought is “Who can I talk to?”
I remember the issue when we first installed our new communications software at work. We crashed all the servers, big time. ALL of them. Turns out, the recommended server load for a large company was based on installing it at AT&T (the phone company). The average user there sent maybe 3 or 4 emails per day, and routinely called each other on the phone for regular business. At IBM, we averaged more like 3 or 4 emails per hour. We emailed each other for everything. The fall back was instant messaging. Only if both of those failed did we try calling.
