Loved your story! I never knew that about treating the area afterward to prevent honey-hunters. I'd better check! I had my own adventures (written as a 5-part short form series) in removing bees from the attic, and my Bee Dude also wore no protective gear. I just figured it was because they were Caribbean bees, and way more mellow than US bees.
