I've gone the other way, too. Instead of giving it subheads and asking it to write the sections, I asked for multiple variations of subheads, picked the ones that resonated with me, and wrote the content. Since my writing style is heavy on the personal anecdotes, it couldn't do the actual writing -- and rewriting would take longer than doing it from scratch.
