It's moved out of laboratory work on cancer cells in petri dishes into laboratory work on cancers in animals (possibly including humans, I wasn't clear if that had already started or was just approved for the future). So it should be showing up as an available treatment in the next 5 - 10 years. Within 50, it will probably be a common treatment.
