It's a very helpful universe. :-)

But we got the walls painted, and realized as we were scraping up some drip lines left over from the previous painting why the room was a weird shade of blue-white. Because it had originally been painted DARK BLUE. For a basement room. They put a coat of white paint over it, but it wasn't enough, and the dark blue still showed through.

The sugar sand color is perfect, a lovely warm, cozy, welcoming shade that immediately made the room feel like 1000 times better.
