It is adorable, and I am normally not even a fan of pomeranians. I was never sure if it was the breed or their owners, who carried them around in purses like accessories, but they always seemed yappy and neurotic. I suppose if I was a dog carried around in a purse, I'd get pretty neurotic and yappy, too.

But, yes, to have mobile apps that completely lack the functionality of the desktop app is wrong. If all you can do is read or respond, and not write something (it did let me add a picture, but wouldn't let me add a caption, and has no ability to submit an article to a publication), then they should call it the Medium Reader app. Like Adobe has Acrobat and Acrobat Reader.
