I'm not a fan of AI writing articles. It can get the job done for a listicle or how-to instruction, but that's generally only good for a business blog or something, when the people aren't really writers. They can correct an article, but can't write it from scratch.
I've used an AI to brainstorm the headings/subheadings of an article. But I wrote the article itself. Since my style relies heavily on stories of my life experiences, an AI couldn't possibly write it. An AI-written article (at current levels of technology...never say never about technology!) is never going to give that sense of experiencing something through someone else's eyes.
I guess it depends on if you're reading/writing to connect with someone, or just to learn/impart some information.
