I think we have that same countertop. It's pretty well destroyed, since it never occurred to me that a plastic bowl from the microwave that was cool enough to handle would make rings on the surface, and that cutting bread with a dough scraper would be enough to scratch it. :-) Looking for low-cost reno innovation, and your article fit the bill exactly.
