I think regular movie tickets were $5, and small/med/large popcorn was $2/3/4. I remember getting the $4 bucket of popcorn, which seemed a fortune at the time, but I would bring the bucket home to serve popcorn in for the "movie theater experience".
Pain sucks, but I'm glad you don't let it define you. Your stories are way more interesting than that.
