I have, that was a good show. I stopped watching it just because I didn't particularly like the characters. But the ideas were great, and my husband loved the show. The issue they're going to be discussing at the conference, I think, is that with the scientific changes coming down the pike, EVERYONE will be able to extend their life span, not just the rich. (Everyone in a developed country with modern healthcare, that is. I'm not sure how transportable to impoverished nations it will be.) But what does that do to the requirements for social support, when someone can retire at "middle age" and live another 60 years, rather than the 5-10 currently projected?
