I have no idea how you combined heart-wrenching and awe-inspiring in the same story, but you did. Hubby and I pulled up stakes and moved to the Caribbean when I was in my 50s and he was in his 60s for step 1 of our dream. Dreams may not look the same as they did when you were young, but they're still there if you're quiet and let them come to you.
