I didn't know Eeyore was retired. No wonder he's such a wet blanket. The people who retire and stay where they were, always reminded of what they're not anymore, seem to be very glum. The ones who retire and move around -- either visiting grand kids, or traveling, or even just making an annual pilgrimage to baseball spring training -- seem to be the ones who are happy and optimistic.
