I can't imagine anyone would object to typos. Unless they belong to that "fake-real" school of internet marketing that says you need to have typos in your work to make you seem like a "real person."

I heartily dislike grammar "fixes", because I have to go to all the trouble to look it up and determine that, yes, I was correct. But what I really, really, REALLY hate is when editors "fix" a piece before publication, and SCREW IT UP. (Someone pointed out a grammar error to me in a private note, and I couldn't imagine I'd made such a stupid mistake...and I HADN'T! It was "fixed".) I have high praise for editors who drop me a note, and let me determine if it really is a problem (and, yeah, sometimes it is, or at least, could be phrased less problematically) and fix it myself, preserving the sense and rhythm of the writing, rather than messing with what I wrote.
