I added a comment with a link to my index of other stories about cats. So hopefully I can siphon off a few more reads to other, longer stories, too. :-)

It is good, though -- if any of your stories does well, the Medium algorithm gives your other stories higher precedence. So it should bump up all your stats, and eventually, bump up your reads. Which will eventually raise your income. It's the "eventually" that is a bit annoying.
