As for making you laugh, one of the funniest things I ever saw was when I brought a balloon dog home and showed it to my cat. She sniffed at it, batted it, and one of the balloon pieces popped. It also caused the rest of the balloon dog to leap forward at her, clinging to her fur with static electricity. So she's running madly around the house with a partially deflated balloon dog stuck to her side. Every so often she'd glance back, see it was still keeping pace with her, and put on another burst of speed. But the darn thing ran as fast as she did! She eventually ran too close to a piece of furniture and scraped it off. She's never gone near another balloon since.
