Here, we have what are called "yard chickens". Meaning, they roam all over people's yards. And cross back and forth across the road. For no reason. At some point, they may have had owners, but either their owner died and they were released into the wild, or they're the offspring of wild chickens. But, if one of them lays an egg, is it the property of the person whose yard they laid the egg in? An interesting dilemma!
