Heh. Reminds me of someone I knew at science fiction conventions. He was crushingly shy, so carried a dragon hand puppet that talked for him. He was a riot, and my friend and I enjoyed talking to him. Eventually he stopped being scared of us, and was willing to talk to us. And we realized the dragon was a riot. The guy was a dead bore.
