Great article. But only two of the quotes are from the New Testament, and they’re from Paul’s letters. Paul wasn’t even one of the disciples. He was a Roman charged with hunting down and killing Christians, until God whacked him upside the head and he converted. He was devout, and sincere, and an excellent letter writer…and is probably why Christianity became the force to be reckoned with that it did. That doesn’t mean he was *right*. He was getting all of his information second-hand.
