Good luck! We took one of the Princess mega-cruises in 2019, just before the pandemic. For some of the ports, we never even got off the ship. It wasn't worth the hassle. The medallions work like a charm, and really make everything faster. (Bonus... you can "find my family" on the app and it will show the last known location of family members' medallions. Very useful when hubby wandered off to use the restroom. I could tell if he got lost trying to find it, or trying to find his way back.)

We were looking at a cruise this year, and decided to only consider the very small (100-150 passenger) ships. I guess they're really very large yachts. But those were the ones with the best Covid protection protocols. We were chatting with some friends whose parents went on a cruise last fall, and both their parents and the couple they'd gone with came home with Covid.
