Go for it! Pre-Covid, I belonged to a chorale that would visit nursing homes and low-income housing developments to put on free concerts. Basically, anywhere that the people either lacked the mobility or the disposable income to attend paid performances. (We also did paid concerts, which is how the chorale was able to afford the free ones.) We were always very well received. For the nursing home shows, they especially enjoyed medleys of older songs that they remembered from their youths and didn't hear much anymore. After the shows, we'd stick around, and they'd tell us stories inspired by where or when they heard those songs. I think the listening was appreciated as much (or more) as the entertaining.
