Glad you enjoyed it, Randy! Yes, the rule was “go outside and don’t come home until dinner time.” Since none of us wore watches, I’m not sure how we were supposed to know when dinner time was. It didn’t get dark until well after dinner in the summers. I think whichever house we were nearest would call their kids in for dinner, and the rest of us scattered to our own homes.
