First, this article is a great way to make me look at your past articles to see if they really were "that bad". :-) So an awesome marketing trick!

Second, that is the most adorable napping koala photo I have ever seen. It's the way he has one paw tucked under his cheek...

Third, one of my best-performing pieces ever was one I thought was a total piece of crap that I banged out quickly because a deadline was due. You can judge whether or not you achieved the level of writing skill you wanted to achieve. But you can't judge whether or not your piece will speak to readers. If you don't like the writing, *and* you get no feedback from readers, then you can say it's bad. Otherwise, it's just not as well written as you might aspire to, but it's still touching readers and improving their lives. I can't call that "bad".
