Credit where credit is due, it was my husband’s idea. I was too busy freaking out, knowing that I had plenty of screws in my toolbox, but the toolbox was downstairs, and it had just started pouring rain, and the stairs are external. :-) I was so fixated on how to get a screw during a downpour, I didn’t think of just taking the thing apart and using the plates as individual pretty plates.
