Comes from a lifetime of being an analytical brain. My first response is always, "Where are the instructions?" My second is always, "How can I measure this?" My third is usually, "Okay, I'm doing it right, now, how can I make this fun and interesting?"

So when I decided in February that I was going to write on Medium, I immediately signed up for 3 classes on how to write for Medium. :-) (Well, not all 3 immediately -- one in February, one in March, and one in April). See, that's the analytical brain again. I had to clarify my statement so you knew *precisely* what I meant -- that I immediately signed up for a class, and followed that with 2 more times, immediately upon finishing the previous. I got too busy to finish the April one.
